B.U.S.H Rocket video

BUSH. Rocket video.
This term for inquiry we were launching plastic rockets. Our  team is called BUSH we came 2nd in my class. It went round about 60m but went way farther on the practices. Then we had to make a video about making our rocket. BUSH means batman, units, Scolding, Hippos (don't ask why).
This is my groups video

Wacky Science Website

Hey Bloggers,

This term our literacy group has been doing science experiments and for the past 3 weeks, we have been paired off and creating our own experiments. I was working with Zara and we did an experiment based around fossils.

This website includes the questions we asked, our hypothesis and finally our results.

Sign Ninja

Hey blogger friends,
Today we were learning New Zealand sign language because it is NZSL week.  For our task we were playing a game called sign ninja. On this, we learn all sorts of things like colours, foods, numbers and soon to learn shapes. Here I am signing my name

Bye bloggers!

Informational experiments

For literacy, this week are doing science experiments my science experiment was about fossilization here is our hypothesis. I think Softer soils will hold the imprint better than soils/dirt that is harder. This was not made around the research we did because the research we did only told us about fossils, not about the soils. I think that the sandy soils with fossilizing better due to the fact that fossils are mostly found in sedimentary rock (sand, silt or clay). There are some minor differences we will take into thought like for example that sand cracks very easily when it is dry so we won’t we able move the plate. Although I think our experiment will work very well and we will get good results.  Here is a picture

Have a good week

Perfect (but not so perfect) PSA's

Today we were doing coding and we were told to put out an issue that we thought needed more attention,   in our community I have noticed that we have had a lot of rubbish lately so I made a PSA about it. PSA stands for public service announcement.

My message is not to litter, I choose this because I thought is a message that everybody knows about but doesn't take action. The audience mainly for everyone who can read, I made it applauding by making it interactive.
