Kia Ora Olivia, this is Shannon from the Summer Learning Journey.
ReplyDeleteWhat an original piece. I love the rhythm and especially the rhymes. They are beautifully chosen and you really create a strong visual with them. I especially like how you appeal to sound as well as sight, particularly with the meteor whizzing by. I’m very impressed.
I also like how you’ve chosen a space themed background. It really adds to the atmosphere of the poem and compliments your writing. Nicely chosen!
If you could travel to any planet in the solar system, which would you go to? I think I’d go to Mars. I’d love to see the red planet, and I think it would be cool because I might encounter Martians. What do you think aliens would look like?
Quick tip: because your background has a lot of colours, it is a little bit difficult to read your poem Perhaps you could make the text bolder or bigger or in a contrasting colour to enhance your reader’s experience.
Happy blogging,
Shannon
