Our task for today was to write about A Day I couldn't get a hold of, In 3-4 paragraphs (use 3-4 sentences per paragraph), tell us about a day that you couldn’t quite get a handle on, making it Interesting. Mine was about the 2016 Kaikoura earthquakes this a day (I mean it was night, but moving on) I will never forget

Well done Olivia! That certainly is a day I'm sure a lot of people couldn't quite get a handle of. It can be hard to write about scary things we have been through, but you did a great job. I can really imagine your dad hugging the fish tank! I remember doing something similar with the Christchurch earthquakes, having to hold my turtle tank. Luckily they were fine, just a bit shaken up! When I saw my Dad hugging the fish tank I was trying soooo hard not to laugh it was a great experience but I don't really want to go through that again.
